Client Services: How Do We Go from Like to Love?

At Indie, we put relationships at the center of everything that we do. Interacting with our clients is about more than just providing marketing services. We strive to be their trusted advisors by showing up each day with empathy and the desire to always be better. If we’ve learned anything this year, it’s that when all of the distractions are stripped away, it’s the connections and relationships you have with others that will always keep us afloat. 

As we look to 2021, we’ve been focused on one concept this month: don’t confuse like with love. As Jared Belsky writes in  The Great Client Partner  , “Love comes with time, trust, respect, wins, fights, and being in the trenches together.”

While it’s always great to be complimented on our marketing services, the greatest compliment that we can receive as a team is around the impact that we have on the people that we work with. We certainly are not perfect, but we’re committed to continued education and growth with our clients, both professionally and personally.
